Process

From first call to written findings

Secure Wi-Fi assessments for office premises work best when access, contacts, and quiet windows are agreed early. Here is the path we use on most visits.

Assessor and office contact discussing wireless notes in a quiet meeting room

Briefing call

We confirm floor count, approximate headcount, whether guest Wi-Fi is offered, and who holds admin access to routers or controllers. Multi-building sites are scoped separately.

Access arranged

You arrange entry to network cupboards and any landlord-controlled equipment. We ask for one on-site contact who knows how staff and visitors usually connect.

Walk-through and checks

On the booked day we walk coverage areas, review SSID layout and encryption, test guest isolation where present, and note default credentials or rogue access-point risk.

Verbal debrief

Before leaving — or shortly after — we outline the highest-priority findings in plain language so managers are not waiting solely on the PDF.

Written report

Within five business days you receive ranked findings, practical fixes that fit your existing gear, and optional next steps such as a hardening session or remediation guidance call.

What we need from you

  • Building access for the booked window
  • Login details or a person who can enter them
  • Permission to test the guest network with a visitor device
  • A quiet desk or meeting room for note-taking

What we do not do on the first visit

  • Replace hardware or sell access points
  • Run continuous remote monitoring
  • Promise zero risk — we report what we find and how to reduce it
